Faith Assembly of Lacey, Washington. Anita, who's husband Paul Wheeler

been living in Salem, Oregon and working at Church Extension Plan.
Anita now joins Dan in continuing on the ministry at Faith Assembly in
Lacey.
Their
wedding was celebrated by many members of both of their families, and
the families of their former spouses. In addition, there were 16 of
their Northwest College / University classmates from the 60's who came
to witness and celebrate their marriage. The Ambassador's Trio of 1967,
brushed off a few old songs, and entertained the couple and their
guests at the reception.
Below is a picture of the 60's Alumni who posed with the bride and groom following the reception.

The Honeymoon:
Following their wedding, Dan and Anita headed south for a 3 week honeymoon that took them to Southern California.
Among
other things, they visited Universal Studios, Sea World, and the San
Diego Zoo. A highlight of their honeymoon vacation was the week
aboard this luxury cruise ship, the MS Oosterdam which departed
from San Diego on April 12th.
Dan writes: "We
boarded the MS Oosterdam for a 7 day cruise down the west coast
of Mexico. What a honeymoon excursion! We visited 3 ports
along the way and each night on the ship we dined in five-star elegance.
At this point in life we decided this would be more fun than a
camping trip!
Three
weeks after the wedding we return home to a grand reception event given
by our home church in Lacey, WA. We now resume pastoring
the church we founded 28 years ago.
The
love and support we continue to receive from our Northwest College
friends really does encourage and bless us during this joyful yet
difficult journey. The next stage of life now dawns and we
step into it together feeling God's hand upon us and lots of great
friends surrounding us."
